THE WOMEN OF ST. MONICA’S ROSARY MINISTRY
The Women of St. Monica’s make and sell inspirational beaded items—rosaries, chaplet bookmarks and prayer bracelets—as the Wear A Prayer beaders. To view samples and place an order, click on the link below. Our beaded products should pop right up.
We design and make beaded Episcopal rosaries, book marks and bracelets. Our profits benefit local, national and global charities and social service agencies.
Our Wear A Prayer beaded items are divinely inspired and our Rosary Ministry brings joy to everyone it reaches. The beaders gather around a library table at St. Monica’s, and our chatter fills the room as we string our beads. Someone asked if we prayed while we worked, and if our voices, laughter, sighs and bead-counting qualify as prayer, then we say “Amen!”
Those who purchase our “Biblical Bling” use their rosaries and bracelets as beautiful meditative tools. This amazing fundraising project supports agencies such as The Naples Senior Friendship Center, Ronald McDonald CareMobile, Camp Able, DaySpring Episcopal Center, Hope for Haiti, Mothers Clubs of Haiti, HJH Libraries for All, Fresh Start for Abused Women and the Alberque Infanil El Buen Samaritano in San Francisco de Macoris, Dominican Republic. We also dedicated a sun-burst window in the light tower of our new sanctuary last year.
Our product line has evolved over two years’ time. We began making Episcopal/Anglican rosaries and bookmarks. They sell very well locally, so we designed Twenty-Third Psalm bracelets. Our newest bracelet design is our beaded Lord’s Prayer bracelet, made with Swarovski crystal beads and either silver– or gold-tone spacers, charms and clasps. Each bead color corresponds to a word or phrase in the Lord’s Prayer.
Your purchase provides support for women, children and families here at home and abroad. You join our small group of divinely inspired beaders as we make micro-loans, provide healthcare, water-purification and education to the poor, and provide safety and services to those who most need them.
Thank you and may the Lord bless you and keep you.
