Laura serves as the Parish Administrator (since 2020) and the Bookkeeper (since 2021) at St. Monica’s Episcopal Church where she helps ensure, the church runs smoothly and supports its vibrant community. Her love for meeting new people and helping wherever she can shines through in everything she does.

Known for her many talents, Laura excels at managing the varied and dynamic needs of the parish.

Raised in the Catholic tradition, Laura’s journey of faith took a broader path as she explored different denominations and practices. As a former military wife of 19 years, she traveled extensively, experiencing diverse cultures and worship styles. These experiences enriched her understanding of faith and humanity, helping her connect with people from all walks of life. She believes this broader lens allows her to see God’s work in many forms and better understand the people she serves.

Outside of work, Laura is happily married to Jim and enjoys the beauty of Florida, from its warm weather to its dog-friendly culture. Their two dogs, Hunter and Mercedes, are frequent companions, bringing joy to her days at the office and beyond.

Whether you’re stopping by the office or reaching out with a question, Laura is always ready to offer support and a listening ear. While Hunter and Mercedes will most likely be there waiting for a treat  (don't worry, the treats are provided by Laura).
